Taco Dip

1 lb. ground beef, browned and drained

1 pkg. taco mix

3/4 cup water

1 large can refried beans

1 1/2 cups shredded lettuce

1 1/2 cups shredded cheese

1 16 oz. jar salsa

Bown meat, drain stir in taco mix and water. Cook 10-15 minutes. Spread beans on the bottom of a 9x13 platter. Layer beef, lettuce, cheese and salsa over beans. Top with sour cream and olives.


Tarter sauce

1 cup mayo

1 tablespoon sweet pickles, chopped

1 tablespoon red onion, chopped

2 tablespoons lemon juice 

salt and pepper

Mix and refrigerate, enjoy.

 


Fruited Tea

Tea bags for 2 gallons of tea

1 1/2 quarts boiling water 

2 cups sugar

1- 48 ounce can pineapple juice

1- 12 ounce can frozen orange juice

1-12 ounce can frozen lemonade 

Place tea bags in a bowl, pour boiling water over them.  Add sugar, stirring to dissolve. Let tea bags steep in sugar overnight.  Pour into a large bowl.  Add juices, stirring well.  Pour equal amounts into two gallon jugs.  Add water to each to fill jug.  Shake well before serving.


Chocolate Cheese Ball

8 ounces cream cheese, softened 

1/2 stick butter, softened 

1/2 cup powdered sugar 

1 teaspoon brown sugar

mini chocolate chips

pecan pieces 

Cream together first 4 ingredients and roll in chocolate chips and pecans.

Chill mixture before you roll it. Serve with graham cracker cookies.

 


Sausage Balls

2 cups Bisquick

1 pound sausage (room temperature)

1 cup grated cheddar cheese

2 tablespoons milk

Mix everything together and make into balls. Bake at 325 until brown, about 20 minutes.
