Red Lobster Rolls

2 cups bisquick

2/3 cup buttermilk 

1/2 cup shredded cheese

1/4 cup melted butter

1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

Combine bisquick, milk, and cheese into a large bowl.  Mix until well blended. Drop by small spoonfuls onto a greased pan.  Bake at 450 degrees for 8-10 minutes. Mix butter and garlic and brush on rolls while hot.


French Toast Roll Ups

8 slices white bread

2 eggs

3 tablespoons milk

1/3 cup sugar

1 teaspoon cinnamon

Filling 

cream cheese, softened 

strawberries, sliced

nutella

Flatten bread with a rolling pin.  Spread desired filling on 1 side of each slice. Tightly roll up the bread.  In a shallow dish, beat eggs and milk.  In another dish mix cinnamon and sugar.  In a 10 inch skillet, melt butter over medium heat to coat inside of skillet.  Dip each roll into egg mixture, and place in skillet. Cook on all sides until brown. Dip each roll in the cinnamon sugar mixture.

 


Pigs in a Blanket French Toast

1 tbsp. Butter

10 sausage links 

Cook sausage and drain.

2 eggs

1/4 cup milk

1/4 tsp cinnamon

1 tsp. Vanilla

1 Tbsp sugar 

Mix in a bowl and set aside.

10 slices of bread

Cut off edges and roll flat. Put the sausage in the bread and roll up. Then dip each one in the egg mixture. Cook until brown on all sides. Sprinkle with powered sugar and dip in syrup.


Lasagna Rolls

1.5 pounds Italian sausage 

1 onion chopped

8 ounces cream cheese

1 cup mozzarella 

3 handfuls of fresh spinach 

10 lasagna noodles

1 jar pasta sauce

In a skillet over medium heat, cook sausage and onion until browned. Drain fat. Add fresh spinach and cook until spinach is wilted.

Bring water to a boil and add lasagna noodles.  Cook until al dente and drain.

Turn heat off and add cream cheese and stir until cream cheese has completely melted.  Stir in mozzarella.

Preheat oven to 350. On each lasagna noodle, spread a layer of sausage mixture and roll up.  Place in a 9x13 pan. Repeat until all noodles have been filled and rolled.  Pour sauce over noodles and sprinkle with Parmesan. Bake at 350 for 20-25 minutes.


Fried Mozzarella

16 pieces string cheese, removed from their wrappers

1/2 cup all purpose flour

2 eggs

1/4 cup milk

2 cups bread crumbs

1 tablespoon dried parsley flakes

Oil for frying

Marinara sauce, for dipping

 

Slice the cheese in half making 32 pieces.  Put the flour in a small bowl. In a separate bowl whisk the milk and eggs.  In another bowl combine the parsley and bread crumbs.  One by one, roll the cheese in the flour, then dip them in the egg mixture.  Finally roll them in the bread crumbs.  Place them on a baking sheet and place them in the freezer for about 20 minutes.  Heat the oil and then fry the cheese sticks, about 2 minutes or until a nice golden brown.  Drain on a paper towel, then serve immediately with warm dipping sauce.
